Korean New Year cakes!  I must admit, my greatest fascination with them is not so much their taste as it is their appearance. There’s a part of me that favours food in cute shapes, and this fish is darn cute—right up to the moment you bite his head off and expose his soft gooey red bean insides.  Its crispy, golden brown crust is juxtaposed against its soft pastey innards.
